About the Lead Instructor and Founder: Diana Spiess


Diana has been teaching, Training, coaching and educating for over 33 years in the fitness, health, wellness, and nutrition fields. Her education and experience span all populations and numerous modalities. In every course she teaches, she blends all and reveals correlations as to how all is connected in the human journey to obtain and sustain true health and well-being. As a yoga therapist, she has been certified for over a decade and has worked with 100's of clients. In this course, she trains others to be able to practice safe and effective yoga therapy for individuals, groups, special populations, and all ages.

What is Yoga Therapy?



Yoga therapy is the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship that includes personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices for individuals or small groups.

Learn to Assist


Yoga Therapists are highly trained in assists and propping well beyond the typical practices of yoga. A therapeutic approach addresses the entire being and safe, effective assists can help to reveal restrictions and opportunities to heal and gain balance in the physical and subtle energy bodies.

Special Populations


Upon completing this course, each student will have certifications in Prenatal and Children's Yoga through the Yoga Alliance along with being certified as a Yoga Therapist. They will also be trained in numerous special clinical populations.

Working in the Clinical Fields


Yoga Therapy is on the brink of being recognized in the Western Clinical Fields and the students that complete the essence of yoga certification course will be beyond ready for this.
